FRequently asked questions

  1. Where do you travel? Currently, I travel all over the South and the Midwest, but I am available anywhere in the mainland United States.

  2. How much do you charge for travel? Travel prices are dependent on the location of the event, however, I bill all travel up front at a flat and include it in the total amount of the package, so there will be no fees or surprise charges on the backend. To determine the flat rate, I look at distance, average cost of hotels, and how many days of events I will be covering. Some cities that I travel to frequently, like Nashville, Huntsville, Chicago, and Cleveland have lower travel rates.

  3. Do you include an engagement session in your packages? Yes! All Memphis, Nashville, Huntsville, Chicago, and Cleveland based couples receive a complimentary engagement session included in their wedding or elopement packages. I am able to travel for engagement sessions, but depending on the location and the travel time, additional travel costs may be added onto the total package.

  4. Do you include a second photographer? Absolutely, a second photographer has already been factored into the hourly cost of all wedding packages, and can be added on to elopement packages. Second shooters have saved the day more than once, so I consider them a necessity for a full wedding day.

  5. What is your turnaround time? Exact turnarounds will be determined by my busy seasons, but at most an engagement session will take 4 weeks, and a wedding 15 weeks.

  6. Do you include a print release? Yes, like with travel I do not like to have fees or additional purchases on the backend. Included in all packages is a print release, which means you will be able to download all of your photos in a high resolution format. High-res allows for better quality of printing and will better preserve your memories.

  7. Can we book for less than 8 hours? Depending on my availability, I am sometimes able to accommodate smaller weddings. If you reach out with a smaller budget, please make sure to include that budget in your inquiry.

  8. How many photos will we receive? An 8 hour wedding will produce roughly 800-900 photos, but the exact amount will depend on the schedule of the day. Couples that do a first look tend to have a higher amount of portraits of themselves, their families, and their parties, and weddings that feature a dance floor or an activity like karaoke will produce more photos than a seated reception.

  9. Do you include albums or prints? Albums and prints are not provided directly through me, but the gallery service I use will give you access to archival quality print shops and album makers. These are third party services, and I cannot control their pricing, but you will be able to buy a variety of products to feature your photos in your home.
